About Miss Alison McCoubrey
I am a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon with over a decade of consultant experience, providing specialist surgical care in Northern Ireland.
My clinical practice encompasses general and colorectal surgery, with particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of colorectal disease. I believe good surgical care begins with listening carefully, explaining things clearly and helping patients make informed decisions about their treatment.
Experience & expertise
I have worked as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon since 2013, with a broad practice encompassing elective and emergency general surgery as well as specialist colorectal surgery.
My particular clinical interests include colorectal cancer, pelvic floor disorders and minimally invasive colorectal surgery. I am actively involved in multidisciplinary cancer care and surgical education and training.
